3 c. sweet potatoes (about 4 good-sized ones)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk

Boil and mash potatoes - mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk.
Put in 13" x 9" baking dish.

Topping:

1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt butter and mix in remaining ingredients.  Sprinkle on top of potato mixture.  Bake 25 min. at 350 degrees.  Serves 10 - 12.
